A writer was contacted by Riccardo Sinclair via Gumtree to work on Converse Magazine (not to be confused with Converse Magazine from Convatech Publishing). Riccardo Sinclair explained that Converse Magazine is the new name for B-Spoke Magazine and indeed part of the Xclusive Media brand.

Scott/Riccardo made claims that American comedienne Amy Lame was to write a regular monthly column, to which her agent has confirmed she was approached but she declined. Please see Amy’s comment:

I have been approached to write a monthly column by B-Spoke magazine; as I was aware of the fraud going on (a friend of mine was unfortunately “employed” by B-Spoke and never paid) I turned down the offer. I have just discovered my name and reputation as a known writer/tv & radio presenter/gay club promoter and alleged B-spoke columnist is being used to entice people into employment. My agent is aware of this and we have sent a frank and forthright email to the editor claiming further actio9n will be taken if my name is used in a dishonest and misleading way. I also received today an email from Ricardo Sinclair of Converse magazine requesting to interview me for the debut issue. I have, of course, refused. I just want to make it clear to everyone here that I am not and never will write for B-Spoke, Converse, or any related publications. Please do not be misled!!!!!
All the very best
Amy Lamé

A domain has been purchased today 15/4/08 for Conversemag.com, we suspect that Scott/Riccardo will be soon recruiting for content.
