This thief claims to be top-dog at a Belfast/USA based corporation called Xclusive Investments LLC and is busy farming out work to freelance designers, developers, coders and writers all over the world via online portals such as gumtree.com, craigslist.com, etc.

Our agency Wideblue Creative Ltd, along with many others, was unfortunately a victim of his scam and we have lost a significant sum of money.

Scott/Reece Dylan is operating worldwide internet scams to defraud investors, steal creative and editorial work, or steal identities of those who have given personal information to contract with his fictional companies.

Having checked out Companies House, the Inland Revenue and several other institutions, we can confirm that neither companies officially exist (updates)

DO NOT DO ANY WORK FOR HIM, SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DETAILS WITH HIM, OR GIVE HIM MONEY.

This Person cheated us, got work done out of us and never paid, USD 33000 was the loss

  2. Sian Says:

Looks like he’s planning to expand the criminal empire….

He contacted me in January to work on queerscene.net and microsites for: Xclusive PR, Xclusive Marketing, Xclusive TV, Xclusive SEO, Xclusive Publishing.

Oddly enough, he disappeared when I suggested payment up-front.

  3. Patricia McDonnell Says:

I can confirm that this is a picture of Scott Dylan (although I am confident that his not his real name). I let an apartment to him last summer. He never paid any rent and I was forced to evict him. He is a professional con artist. At the same time as conning us, he sold hundreds of tickets to a club night through a bogus website (claimed he was not connected with the site) and then cancelled the gig - pocketing the proceeds. Stay away from this guy.

  4. Robert Williams Says:

Please advise which 4 police forces are after him as that is quite an assertion! (need sme evidence)as I have his current address
    and phone number

  6. Andrew Bester Says:

I would like to add my two cents in as well as I was yet another victim of Scott Dylan or who ever he is, done work for him and never got paid for the work that I have done. Still waiting on payment for the month of effort and time that i put into the roll of sales manager for this magazine of his B-Spoke. So I can assure you that he is still very much activly invloved in scamming people and businesses. Also trust me if i tell you that the police forces are indeed after him after several cases was logged against him for fraud this is not just something that was made up I can confirm this with evidence. Not only did he scam me in work done for him then made no contact after I tried to follow up on my monthly salary but he is still running the exact same advert on gumtree i replied to when i was offered the position, looking for freelancsers editors and ad sales managers. So this that he claims all this is in his past, leaves alot to be desired. I will be happy to withdraw the ciminal case i made against him and this post on this website is by means of actions he proves that this is indeed his past and pay myself and people that worked with me on the magazine at the time I was working for the magazine. So please do get in contact Scott and settle your debts with the people you scammed, this is cowardly and pathetic to say the least.

  7. Andrew Bester Says:

Oh and can i just also metionen another thing, as a new employee of any company i had to give very personal details about myself, among that was account details of one of my bank accounts, shortly after Scott defrauded me of over £1000 my account was used for the sum of £310.00 in dublin and i am still in the process of trying to get these monies back from the back. I wonder if this is just a coincidence, or maybe not! Dublin/Belfast area is where he stays innit! Need I say more!

  8. Dan Angel Says:

How sad we seem to be spending even more time on this thief!!!!!
He owes me for B-Spoke magazine design/media packs etc… I won’t hold my breath but I’d love to meet Scott to have a chat but I suppose I have to get in line…

  9. Wideblue Says:

It’s sad that someone is abusing the freelance design/media community for his own selfish ends but someone needs to take a stand and we decided to. The intention is that by sharing our experiences we can prevent others from going through the same thing.

It’s also worth pointing out that the worth of this blog may be subject to perspective. Some people have been ripped off for hundreds of pounds, others like ourselves have been taken for thousands. One is inconvenient, the other is life affecting. We lost close to seven thousand pounds and the strain on a family unit losing such income is severe. We are still feeling the repercussions to this day.

Andrew, we have good reason to believe that Scott has also used our business bank account to pay for his BT bills, I don’t know how he does it, but he is a seasoned criminal and has found a way to make it happen.

  10. Former Employer Says:

I’m afraid it’s true - Reece Dylan/Scott Dylan is not all he seems.

He was arrested in 2006, and was due to answer bail in Northampton (UK) in August. He failed to answer bail, and there’s an arrest warrent out for him.

If anyone knows his location (or how to find it), they should contact DC Mark Warner at Northampton police on +44 (0) 8453 700700.

  11. Wideblue Says:

Former Employer thank you for your contribution.
DC Mark Warner is no longer dealing with SD’s investigation, anyone wishing to contact Northampton police can ask for DC Graham Newitt.
There are 4 active UK warrants for arrest for Reece Dylan. Hence why he won’t leave Belfast.

  12. Anon Belfast Says:

Scott Dylan is currently living it large in Belfast. He is a regular on the Belfast Gay Scene and is a regular customer of Mynt. He is also attempting to get unwitting companies and individuals to advertise in Bspoke magazine, there are plenty of people in Belfast who would be more than willing to give up the details of this guys address and contact numbers. Just ask at the right bars and there would be no problem finding him.

  13. Rich McCoy Says:

Hi last week I got contacted buy someone I feel is a figment of Mr Dylan’s imagination stating the following

    Dear Mr McCoy,

I have been passed your details by Scott Dylan, he is trying to resolve the current issues that are outstanding; did you send him an invoice as we have been unable to find it. I would appreciate it if you could resend any invoices sent to Scott so I can make payment.

    Thomas Martin
    Accounts Manager

& on replying to send the outstanding invoices agian I got this reply

    Dear Rich,

Can we come to an agreement that once paid you will remove the information you have posted online?

    Thomas Martin

I have yet to receive payment but have agreed to post up when I have but stated that I will not be bribed to shut up, wrong is wrong, even if you do right by me or not.

  14. Wideblue Says:

We can indeed confirm that SD’s and TM’s emails were coming from the same computer. So given his reputation it would be a fair assumption that this person does not exist. We were contacted by this phantom employee ourselves and not once would he accept a call from us or engage in any way.

Scott, we will happily delete this blog once you settle our £7K invoice.

  15. Andrew Says:

With reference to my recent postings on the blog, I am just gob smacked at how SD and his imaginary friend Thomas only replies to some people and some postings. The fact that he is trying to bribe people to stop writing and sharing their views and experiences is a blatant admission of guilt. I must just inform all on here to of some developments on my side, after monies went missing out of my bank account recently, very shortly after sharing all my sensitive account information with Mr SD I opened a fraud investigation case through my bank against him, I obtained some details about some activity of deliveries to an address of his that orange mobile delivered to, so possibly a real address for Mr SD. This was passed on to the bank’s fraud department and they are OBVIOUSLY investigating Mr SD now that I reported him as a suspect. IF YOU ARE READING THIS SCOTT or REECE or what ever and who ever you are, please be assured that we will not rest until we all see you in a court room charged with all these criminal activities of yours and see you behind bars, for a long long time.

  16. Andrew Says:

There are many more where this comes from, any one on here need something or want to see any proof of his activities, just get in touch, I will gladly be of assistance. I made sure I kept all proof.

  17. Cherif Smida Says:

I have just been offered a freelance writing/journalist job at B-Spoke, now known as Converse, magazine by someone going by the name of Riccardo Sinclair.

    I hope this helps.

  18. Emma Says:

    Hi,

Ricardo was an ad sales exec for Scott but since myself and the former designer ceased our involvement with BSpoke he has “promoted” Ric to “Operations Manager”.

This is suspicious! Ric is fully aware of Scott’s dodgy background as I made sure of it before leaving the “company” and yet he STILL choses to work at BSpoke. I wouldn’t be surprised if Scott and Ric were in cahoots and would avoid working for anyone willing associating themselves with either man.

    Best,
    Emma

  19. Amy Lamé Says:

I have been approached to write a monthly column by B-Spoke magazine; as I was aware of the fraud going on (a friend of mine was unfortunately “employed” by B-Spoke and never paid) I turned down the offer. I have just discovered my name and reputation as a known writer/tv & radio presenter/gay club promoter and alleged B-spoke columnist is being used to entice people into employment. My agent is aware of this and we have sent a frank and forthright email to the editor claiming further actio9n will be taken if my name is used in a dishonest and misleading way. I also received today an email from Ricardo Sinclair of Converse magazine requesting to interview me for the debut issue. I have, of course, refused. I just want to make it clear to everyone here that I am not and never will write for B-Spoke, Converse, or any related publications. Please do not be misled!!!!!
    All the very best
    Amy Lamé

  20. Emma Says:

    Hi Amy,

I was the editor on BSpoke that approached you re: a column the first time around. I hope our working relationship (established at g3 magazine) has not been tarnished by the trouble surrounding BSpoke. Had I known then what I do now, I would not have risked dragging any honest soul into this mess.

    All the best Amy,
    Emma

  21. Wideblue Says:

Ricardo, the email address you provided us isn’t valid, so I’m coping my reply to your comments here:

    Are you serious?
Ricardo to declare that ‘everyone has been paid’ its complete bullshit.
You take gullible to a new level for believing Scott Dylan’s stories.
I’m sure I speak for hundreds of other honest people defrauded of money by this pond-scum that your ’second chance for a badly treated person’ is simply galling.
He has a history of ripping off and abusing almost everyone he comes across and we’re not talking years ago, but weeks ago.

None of your comments will be published and your phone number is staying.

Now go away and get yourself a legit job, if you even exist.
Your use of capital letters and bad grammar is remarkably similar to Scott’s.

  22. Amy Lamé Says:

Hello Emma and thanks for your honesty. I think g3 is great and of course all this B-Spoke/Converse malarkey has not spoiled our working ties. I think we can all appreciate here how easy it is (unfortunately) for honest souls to be enticed by dishonest people.
I am just glad this forum is here to warn people.
    Best
    Amy

  23. kayne Says:

Just to alert everyone Scott Dylan has connections with a free gay publication called “queer scotland” (http://www.qsmag.co.uk)

I was approached by Ricardo Sinclair the operations manager on monday inviting me for an interview/portfolio viewing at their new offices down in Chigwell , Essex ( let alone the magazine is based in scotland)

PLEASE BE AWARE , RICARDO SINCLAIR IS KNOWN TO BE A THIEF WITHIN THE PINK POUND MARKET!!

  24. Concerned "friend" Says:

I have been out and about the belfast gay scene for approx 2 years and have recently came across “scott dylan” and his partner Daragh through the pubs and clubs (which they are both barred from,)
supposedly being friends i have been offered a job working for him through the magazine and media industry, i declined ofcourse, thank goodness now tho..
he is still very much active in belfast and i have exclusive contact details of him, being his “friend” that is,
if this is true about him, then i am indeed in trouble as i have done work for him, but as part as a much bigger company that i am currently working for,
    help me understand this more.
    thank you

  26. Emma Says:

Ricardo’s Skype profile now has him down as “Rivercroft Enterprises”. Also, I have received a series of phone calls this evening from an anonymous male who likes to reel off my personal info in a sad attempt at intimidating me. Having asked how he got my mobile number and refused to answer his questions he became hostile - so it wasn’t a company or sales call. I think it was Ricardo. Scott had access to regular info on my CV such as DOB and my bank details for wages etc. I can’t think why anybody would call and state that info for any other purpose. I will log all calls and refer the info to the police. If anybody else experiences anything similar please let me know and we can collaborate evidence.

    Thanks,
    Emma

  27. Wideblue Says:

    Hi Emma
I am really sorry to hear about these calls, it’s sick to say the least.
We are pleased to read that these attempts to intimidate you have not worked though.
Also, thank you for letting us know about Rivercroft Enterprises.

  28. Rich McCoy Says:

    Hey Emma,

Firstly I am shocked and disgusted that you would have to suffer the annoyance of having a spineless coward attempt to intimidate you in this way, however I am impressed with your strength of character in refusing to be intimidated and in reporting the matter. Good for you.

I fail to understand the mentality of some people. Wjat on earth did they think they where going to achieve behaving in such a childish manner?

  29. Emma Says:

    Hi all,

I had another two prank calls this morning at around 6.50am. The first caught me off guard - I answered before I’d opened my eyes and didn’t notice it was a withheld number. The caller asked, “Is this Emma Willis?” I said yes. He said, “I’m sorry, your mum has been in a car accident.” I said “What?!” and then he laughed his ass off and hung up the phone.

Needless to say I have called BT and they are in the process of tracing the call as he’s made the mistake of ringing my landline. I am also going to report these additional calls to police and start legal proceedings for prosecution under harassment laws to whoever proves associated with this number.

  30. Wideblue Says:

    Emma
    We are speechless.
I think we are dealing with a psychopath and perhaps he should be sectioned other then jailed.

  31. Emma Says:

    Hey WB,

I am also beginning to wonder if this guy is all there.. .

  33. Chris Clark Says:

I agreed to the sale of the Internet domain name queer.co.uk to this person for a total agreed price of £12,500. What surprised me about this character was the exent of negotitation on payment terms he was willing to undergo given, I now know he clearly had no intention of ever paying and also how his conduct in the deal early on gave few clues as to his lack of genuineness. In my area of business I am very familiar with frauds and timewasters and consider myself good at spotting them, this person however did not initially give any indications of being so.

I am inclined to agree with the suggestions above that this individual is indeed some form of Sociopath given his conduct and reactions in my case. What surprised me was that after 6 weeks of non-payment and no response from him and I managed thankfully to restore the transferred domain name to my ownership with the help of Nominet. He then actually reacted angrily as if he himself were being cheated and proceeded to raise a complaint against me through Nominet legal department accusing us of fraudulent activity by restoring the domain name to my companies ownership! He clearly had premeditatedly set out to acquire this domain name in a fraudulent manner for his “projects” and was genuineley angry that his theft on this occasion had not worked out as he had planned and was relying on.

I would happily be a party to criminal proceedings against this individual.

Innocent are you, Ricardo? Yeah right, pull the other one - Oh, and the next time you call to tell me my mother’s been in a car accident, expect the pulsing sound of a rape alarm down the phone (sound advice there Rich, thanks).
